Police are investigating an “unexplained death” in the Auckland suburb of Grafton on Sunday morning.
Police were called to a Symonds Street car park at about 5:20am, after a man was found with unexplained injuries.
“CIB are investigating,” a police spokesperson said.
The scene will remain under police guard until the examination is completed, the spokesperson said.
Hato Hone St John told Newshub they were notified of the “unexplained death” at 5:14am.
They responded with one ambulance, one rapid response vehicle and one manager.
