A hunt is still continuing for Whitney Iraia-Burgess, who is wanted in relation to the murder of a man in an Auckland carpark at the weekend.
Det Insp Glenn Baldwin said on Tuesday police are still after the public’s help for sightings of a grey Honda Accord with the registration plate PHL347, believed to be linked to Iraia-Burgess.
But Baldwin said the vehicle may now have different plates.
“We continue to ask anyone who sights her or the vehicle to call 111 immediately, and refer to file number 230312/0658 or Operation Duke Blue.
“Information can also be provided anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.”
It comes after police released a photo of Iraia-Burgess on Monday and warned the pubic not to approach her.
A homicide investigation was launched on Sunday after the man’s body was found on Symonds St, Grafton at 5:20am.
Baldwin said the man appeared to have been assaulted and died before he was found.
He was seen on CCTV an hour earlier in his car at a petrol station, on the corner of Karangahape and Ponsonby Rds
