Police are investigating a crash on Muriwai Beach involving a vehicle and pedestrian on the weekend.
Emergency services were called to Muriwai Beach near the Wilson Rd access point at about 1:50pm on Sunday.
A Hato Hone St John spokesperson said they responded with one ambulance, one manager and a helicopter.
“We assessed and treated one patient who was airlifted to North Shore Hospital in a moderate condition.”
A police spokesperson said their staff spoke to those involved at the scene and “enquires are ongoing”.
