A cat has interrupted nightly Ramadan prayers in Algeria, becoming somewhat of an internet sensation.
Sheikh Walid Mehsas was leading prayers in the Aby Bakr al-Siddiq mosque, an activity normally carried out each night during the Muslim holy month.
He posted a video to Facebook, showing him unbothered by the cheeky feline guest as it gets patted then crawls up to Mehsas’ shoulder.
