A person has been hospitalised with critical injuries after an incident at Auckland’s Half Moon Bay ferry terminal.
In a statement to Newshub, a police spokesperson said emergency services responded to the incident on Wednesday afternoon, which was reported to police around 2:40pm.
“One person has been transported to hospital with critical injuries.”
SeaLink also confirmed the incident happened at their ferry terminal.
“Firstly, we are deeply concerned for the person involved, and our thoughts are with them and their family at this time,” they said.
“We are also providing support to our staff and others involved in this incident. SeaLink is working with relevant authorities in relation to this event.”
WorkSafe has been notified, police said.
