A man has undergone surgery after being shot through the window of his parked car last night in Auckland.
A police spokesperson said the victim was sitting in his vehicle parked on Marjorie Jayne Crescent in Ōtāhuhu around 6.25pm when two men approached.
The 41-year-old was then shot through the driver’s window screen, the spokesman said.
“The victim drove himself to the Whitecross Accident and Emergency Centre on Lunn Ave in Mt Wellington.
“The victim was subsequently transported to Auckland Hospital where he underwent surgery and remains in a stable condition.”
